The Women Empowerment through Entrepreneurship project, funded by the European Union, supports VET providers in creating programmes that empower women in the Arab Mediterranean region. By tackling unemployment and gender inequality, it promotes entrepreneurship as a route to inclusion, resilience and better youth employment.

The project strengthens the capacity of Egyptian VET institutions across the full cycle of programme development. This includes design, delivery, evaluation and validation of skills. It follows European Commission quality frameworks to ensure relevance and long term sustainability.

WEntre embeds 11 EntreComp competences across its training programmes. Trainers and learners are encouraged to spot opportunities, think creatively and turn ideas into practical actions that support social and economic development.
