مشاركDr. Ahmed Said Abdelnabee Swailam works as an Associate Professor of curricula & instruction and educational technology Director of the Center for Educational Excellence at Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, Egypt. He is Member of the Central Unit for Curriculum Development and Learning Methods In education strategy administration ESA, An international consultant for colleges of excellence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a part time instructor in American University in Cairo (AUC). Also, he was a curriculum development expert and professional trainer in TVET II program (EU Project). He Participation Curriculum development expert in a workshop presenting the methodology for developing technical education on June 6, 2023, with the participation of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, and the GIZ “German Association for International Cooperation” Employment Support Project, He has rich experiences in curriculum development acquired and proven by participating as expert in many international and national projects for developing curricula such as: Curricula and training packages in the tracks system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and prepared Integrated Social Studies Curricula and test in Qatar and prepared Political Geography, Social Studies, and History Curricula in Egypt.
Preparing, equipping and managing several international projects with international and regional organizations and institutionsو Such as the project to empowering women in entrepreneurship (WENTRE) with the ERASMUS, Comprehensive inclusion project for primary education workers in Aswan, Comprehensive inclusion project for primary education workers in Alexandria and Giza, Project to inclusion children with disabilities into kindergarten, Project for educational rehabilitation of refugees in Aswan, Project for educational rehabilitation of refugees “Sudan, Syria and others” in Greater Cairo Governorate, The project to prepare and train Ras Ghareb teachers educationally with AUC, The project to develop digital and academic skills for community education teachers in Giza and Assiut with AUC
He worked and cooperated with many international organizations as a curricula development expert in planning and carrying out projects related to curricula development such as: National Geographic, Longman, University Of Prince Edward Island (UPEI)…etc. He is an expert and consultant of designing / developing curricula for many organization and centers in Egypt and Arab countries.
He has excellent education management, operating and leadership skills proven through leading and supervising positions such as: member of Member of the Technical Office of NAQAAE; manager of Practicum Unit Faculty of education Ain Shams University from 2014 to 2021 and Quality Assurance Supervisor and Board Member in TDCentre (FLDC) Ain Shams University.
He is competent in providing capacity building for teachers, educational supervisors and leaders. In additionally, He has good knowledge of modern education systems especially in the field of curricula development from international perspectives through exploring best practices and lesson learned within study tours in Canada. He has excellent skills in writing technical project reports, studies, guidelines…etc. He is certified trainer, moderator and facilitator.
He is fully computer literate, proficiency in Microsoft Office, communication and team work; also, He is a certified external reviewer of pre university education by NAQAAE. He is a member of some scientific associations in the field of curricula and instruction such as: the Egyptian Association for Curricula and Instruction, and the Educational Association for Social Studies. -
